Dermot Halpin

Dermot Halpin is the Chief Executive Officer of Taxwell. Dermot is a highly experienced global technology executive and has held CEO and President positions at several US and European public and private travel and technology firms including Tripadvisor Inc and Expedia Inc. Dermot has also served on the boards of Ding.com (Ireland, Fintech), E-long (China, Online Travel) and Voyages-SNCF (France, Online Travel) amongst other consumer tech boards.

Dermot received his Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD and studied engineering at University College Dublin

Curtis Tripoli

Chief Financial Officer

Curtis Tripoli is the Chief Financial Officer for Taxwell. Prior to joining Taxwell, Curtis served as the Chief Financial Officer for Top Hat where he demonstrated his expertise in strategy, process improvement and operations. Prior to that role, Curtis spent 12 years at Ancestry where he developed their Finance Department into a strategic function, supported M&A transactions and private equity sponsors.

Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business.

Stephanie Wallace

Chief HR Officer

Stephanie Wallace is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Taxwell. Stephanie has held senior Human Resource positions at large-scale technology companies including Honeywell and Novelis, as well as smaller more nimble companies like Secureworks. Most recently Stephanie was the Chief Human Resource Officer of Acoustic, formerly a division of IBM.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Master’s degree in Labor Relations & Human Resouces from Michigan State University.

Sugata Mukhopadhyay

Chief Technology Officer

Sugata Mukhopadhyay is Taxwell’s Chief Technology Officer, where he oversees software and tax development, cloud operations, data platforms, IT, and information security. Prior to joining Taxwell, Sugata was at Tripadvisor, where he served in various technology roles including group CTO. Sugata has also been involved with several early-stage startups across media, FinTech and mobile technology, both as a founder and in engineering leadership roles. His experience spans building global technology teams, building and operating highly scalable media platforms and two-sided e-commerce marketplaces, developing robust data and data science platforms, delivering cloud and technology migrations, and several platform integrations.

Sugata holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Cornell University.

Willa Kalaidjian

Chief Legal Officer

Willa Kalaidjian is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Taxwell, where she leads Taxwell’s legal, government relations, compliance, and procurement functions. She is responsible for driving the company’s legal strategy in critical areas such as privacy, business partnerships, intellectual property, and litigation.

Prior to joining Taxwell, Willa was in private legal practice as an equity shareholder with Chambliss, where she focused on technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and data privacy and security. Willa serves on the executive committee for the American Coalition for Taxpayer Rights, and is recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star and a Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch.

Willa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Columbia University, a Masters of Science in Secondary Education from Pace University, and a Juris Doctor from Emory University.

Bastien Martini

Chief Product Officer

Bastien Martini is the Chief Product Officer for Taxwell, where he manages product, marketing and analytics. Previously, Bastien was the Chief Operating Officer for DeepReach a French startup located in Paris building a software to facilitated local digital marketing. Prior to that role he served as the Vice President at Viator an organization owned by TripAdvisor, where he managed product, design, content, marketing, and analytics.

Bastien holds an Ingenieur degree, equivalent to a Masters’ degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a Masters degree in Aeronautics from MIT.

Alice Curry

Chief Customer Officer

Alice Curry is the Chief Customer Officer for Taxwell. Previously, Alice led the Member Services team at Match Group, where she created an omnichannel experience for members, leading to an increase in customer success. Prior to that role, Alice was the Vice President of Customer Care for American Airlines where she led a team of 7,500 global professionals responsible for customer relations, flight availability, and baggage resolution.

Alice received her Masters of Business Administration from Cornell and her Bachelors degree in Marketing from Southern Methodist University.

Joe Albert

SVP, Sales

Joe Albert is the Senior Vice President of Sales for Taxwell, where he leads Taxwell’s professional sales, retention, and education functions. Joe is a seasoned go-to-market executive with extensive experience spanning over twenty-four years in enterprise software sales. Prior to his role at Taxwell, Joe held leadership positions in the Human Capital Management and FinTech software sectors. Most recently Joe served as the Vice President of Sales at Emburse. Joe studied Business Administration at the University of Southern Maine.

Byron Peyster

SVP, Strategy

Byron Peyster is the Senior Vice President of Strategy for Taxwell. In this role, he is responsible for setting and executing the long-term strategy, as well as all partnerships and M&A for Taxwell. Prior to joining Taxwell, Byron was with BCG, where he was a partner in the firm’s Consumer and Private Equity practices. While at BCG, he led growth strategy and transformation initiatives for public and private equity backed companies in multiple sectors. In addition, he worked on numerous M&A transactions in the consumer and technology spaces.

He received his Masters of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Washington & Lee University.
